Common questions
How fast is overnight?
UPS Next Day Air and FedEx Priority Overnight usually arrive the next business morning, FedEx Standard Overnight later that day. Times depend on the address, so check the delivery estimate on each rate and ship before the carrier's cutoff.
Which carriers can I ship with?
USPS, UPS and FedEx. Rates from all three show on the same screen, so you compare them without switching sites.
What happens if the address is wrong?
Before rates load, VinShips checks the recipient address with USPS. If there is a better match, you see it next to what you typed and choose which one to use.
Is my package insured?
Most services include carrier coverage up to $100. For a higher declared value, add insurance while you create the shipment.
Can I require a signature?
Yes. Choose adult signature on the shipment and the carrier collects it at delivery.
Can I cancel a label I no longer need?
Yes. Open the shipment and choose Cancel Label.
What do I need to sign up?
An email address and a password. We send a link to verify the email, then you can create your first shipment.
